Small CNC Carved Wood American Flag

These beauties are the smaller version of the flags we have. We’ll call them the “clean cut” version as we also make distressed ones. 😉 These are made from a piece of solid Birch 3/4″ cabinet grade ply.

We cut down the wood, give it a little sand and a base coat of paint before putting it on the CNC. When they come off the machine I clean up the design by hand with a blade before sanding with various tools. A little clean up and it’s ready for wood conditioner, stain, paint or whatever the case may be. Once they’ve had plenty of dry time we give them 2-3 coats of clear.

Please note: These are for INDOORS! (We can make outdoor flags or other sizes. Just reach out.)

We usually add d-rings or sawtooth hooks to the backside. That said, these are small enough they will also stand on your dresser, buffet, bookshelves or desk. That’s currently where mine sit, right next to my pens.
